Dear Counselors,

Thank you for volunteering for Kids II this summer! Esopus is special to our campers because of your generosity and energy. This year our theme will be EUROPEAN VACATION. We are planning to visit Italy, Ireland, France, Spain and Great Britain. Don't forget to pack anything that might fit the week (flags, clothes, musical instruments, etc.) We've got some ideas going, and welcome any suggestions for activities or materials (e-mail Katie).

A few things:

• We regret that some counselors were put on the waitlist. It is therefore imperative that any accepted counselor let a director know as soon as possible if he/she cannot attend Kids II. We discourage arriving late or leaving early. However, if you must, please notify us.
• Please let us know if you plan on taking the queens or Brooklyn bus to and from camp. (Reminder: Only students who have been out of high school for more than one year may bring a car to camp.)
• Brooklyn Bus: Bishop Ford High School, 500 19th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215 (between Prospect Park West [9th Avenue] and 10th Avenue in Park Slope)
• Queens Bus: Resurrection Ascension Church, 85-25 61st Road, Rego Park, NY 11374 (parish yard at Woodhaven Boulevard and Eliot Avenue)
• We would GREATLY appreciate if one of our experienced counselors could volunteer as a "point person" for each bus. Please contact a director! (Without a volunteer, we may assign this.)
• Don't forget your sheets and towels :)
